With corporate experience spanning over some 30 years including Head of Group & Global Procurement for a top three UK retail chain where I was responsible for the full creation and implementation of global sourcing strategy initiatives, e-procurement, supplier/vendor management, CSR and commercial contract negotiation. Fully conversant with EU procurement frameworks and category management I have also delivered strategic level procurement initiatives within UK & International public bodies, including United Nations,the higher education sector and a wide range of sectors including: telecoms, banking and oil & gas. A certified instructor in delivering emotional intelligence training and have wide international experience, including: Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, KDR, China, South East Asia, Germany, France, and Sweden. Educated to degree level, and also a member of the British Institute of Learning & Development and Fellow of institute of Training and Occupational Learning (FITOL) and regularly collaborate with UK universities on course content at MSc level.
